Deleting your CodeDesign account is a straightforward process that allows you to remove your account and associated data from our platform. This guide will walk you through the necessary steps to deactivate and delete your account, ensuring a smooth experience. Please note that once your account is deleted, it cannot be restored, and all associated content will be permanently removed.
Step 1: Accessing Account Settings:
1. Begin by logging into your CodeDesign account using your credentials.
2. In the top-right corner of the page, you will find an avatar icon. Click on it to reveal a dropdown menu with various options.
3. From the dropdown menu, select "Settings" to proceed to the account settings page.
Step 2: Deactivating Your Account:
1. On the account settings page, scroll down until you reach the "Deactivate and Deletion" section.
2. Within this section, you will come across a brief description explaining the deactivation process. It is important to understand that deactivating your account will remove it from CodeDesign within a few minutes. However, do note that you can reactivate your account at any time.
3. Just below the description, you will notice a prominently displayed "Deactivate Account" button, adorned in a striking red color. Click on this button to initiate the deactivation process.
Step 3: Confirmation and Reason for Deletion:
1. Upon clicking the "Deactivate Account" button, a confirmation page will appear, seeking your final confirmation before proceeding with the deletion.
2. On this page, you will be asked to select a reason for deleting your account from a list of predefined options. Please choose the reason that resonates most with your decision.
3. Once you have made your selection, click on the red "Delete Account" button to proceed to the final step.
Step 4: Final Confirmation:
1. After clicking the "Delete Account" button, a dialogue box will appear, providing one last confirmation before permanently deleting your account.
2. Take a moment to review the information presented, ensuring that you fully comprehend the consequences of deleting your account.
3. If you are certain about deleting your account, click on the red "Delete" button to finalize the process.
