Receiving email notifications for form submissions ensures that you're always up-to-date with user interactions on your website. Below is a detailed guide on how to enable this feature in just a few steps.
We've also created a YouTube video that walks through the same process, so you can follow along either by video or article, whichever you prefer.
Step-by-Step Guide | Setting Up Email Notifications for Form Submissions
For this demo, we’ve already set up the project with a contact form. Now, our next step is to ensure that we’re receiving email notifications when someone submits the form.
If you’re not sure how to set up a form like this, you can refer to this detailed guide: Using Forms in Your Project.
Once setup, you can follow the step-by-step instructions below to enable email notifications for form submissions.
Step 1: Navigate to Project Settings
First, make sure your form is set up and already receiving submissions in the Data Hub. If you haven’t created a form yet, check out our tutorial on form creation.
Once your form is ready, scroll to the footer of the page and click on Project Settings.
Step 2: Access the Notifications Tab
Within the Project Settings, locate and click on the Notifications tab. This is where you'll configure the email notifications for form submissions.
Step 3: Enable Email Notifications
In the Notifications settings, you'll see an option for Email Notifications. Toggle the switch to enable it.
Step 4: Add Email Addresses
Next, you can enter up to four email addresses where notifications will be sent. Simply type the email addresses into the provided field. You can add just one or more, depending on your needs.
Step 5: Save and Publish
After entering the email addresses, make sure to save your changes. Once saved, publish the update to ensure the email notification feature is active.
